‘Very elegant and beautiful’ Says Software Team Manager

SAN FRANCISCO—The Nicoll family was celebrating their daughter’s birthday with a trip to see Shen Yun Performing Arts at the San Francisco War Memorial Opera House on Saturday, July 24. This was the second of four shows at the opera house as part of Shen Yun’s summer tour.

Dave Nicoll is a senior manager of a software development team for Interactive Corporation, an Internet company. Mr. Nicoll was interviewed during intermission.

Mr. Nicoll said, “I think it's really interesting to see the show. It's the sort of dancing that we normally don't see.” It was “very elegant and beautiful to watch,” he added.

He also thought the “flowing dresses and materials is really eye catching. It's really great to see.”

He thought about the women dancing and doing their twirls and said, “how just beautifully choreographed and synchronized everything is. It really is heart touching.”

The family walked down to the orchestra in the beginning to take a look. “They were very friendly and waved to my daughter,” he said.

Mr. Nicoll said that he and his wife like the performing arts and come to the opera house to see the opera. “So this is the first time that we brought our daughter. And so it's actually a birthday present for her. So it's a very special occasion for her.”

He said that his daughter was enjoying the show. “She sits in her seat very focused and has enjoyed it very much,” said Mr. Nicoll.

But as the intermission was ending his daughter’s anticipation couldn’t wait any longer. He said, “She’s already run back to her seat.”
